The Awakening Circle

Hi, I’m Arielle DiVita. I was born and raised in Detroit in a family of professional musicians, so music’s in my DNA. I studied music and dance as a kid, but chose a career in business and tech instead of the arts—much to my parents’ disappointment! (They were hoping I’d join the family business.)

These days, I split my time between LA and Detroit, running my creative agency (shameless plug!) where I offer consulting, web and graphic design, marketing, and event production.

With 30 years of experience in marketing, design, tech, and event production—from large-scale corporate conferences to theatrical productions—I’ve found my true happy place working with artists. That’s why I started ONTHE1 Marketing, a division of my agency dedicated to them—because their stories are inspiring and deserve the spotlight. (And if you’re a fan of funk music like me, you’ll know where the ONTHE1 reference comes from.)

I’m also a proud Prince fan—I’ve flown across the country more than once for his shows, including opening night of his final tour, Piano & a Microphone, at Paisley Park. It’s a passion I share with my daughter, a dancer, choreographer, and probably the world’s biggest music fan. We’ve shared countless unforgettable musical moments—many Prince-related—where I felt a sense of pure joy.  

Artists inspire me—whether it’s my parents, my daughter, friends, or incredible talents like Maya McClean and Morris Hayes, who spent years performing with Prince. Working with them feels like coming home, and I’m grateful to be part of their journeys.
